The Centre for Research Communications at the University of Nottingham is developing a new SHERPA/REF service to help authors comply with the open access policy for a post-2014 Research Excellence Framework. Research Consulting is undertaking a stakeholder consultation to inform development of this service, and are therefore seeking responses to two short online surveys, one for authors, and another for librarians and research support staff.
The survey links can be found below, and all survey respondents will be entered into a draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher (or another e-retailer of their choice):
Librarians and research support staff survey
Please do complete the support staff survey if you possibly can, and circulate the author survey to relevant staff in your institution. Both surveys will close at midnight on Wednesday 28 January 2015.
Both surveys should take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and your opinions and thoughts are highly valued by the SHERPA/REF team as contributing to defining a successful service. We are aware that Jisc is launching a separate survey looking at other SHERPA services – RoMEO, JULIET, OpenDOAR, FACT and RSP – to which we hope you will also contribute.
