Jisc Collections has published its own ebook called Ebooks in Education: Realizing the Vision.
The book brings together the experiences of colleagues in universities and colleges across the UK, describing how managers, teachers and librarians are encouraging the use of ebooks and why ebooks can be an important asset for institutions, academics and students.
It includes some very interesting case studies from individual institutions on ways they are working with ebooks, including: business models for ebooks, developing apps for ebooks, institutions as publishers of ebooks, and more. It has a Foreword by Madeleine Atkins, Chief Executive at HEFCE.
